PRIVACY POLICY
We operate the website www.tyrolchrono.com and collect certain data from our customers and visitors where necessary. In the following data protection declaration you will find out what we do with your data, the so-called personal data, and why we do this. We will also tell you how we protect your data, when this data will be deleted and what rights you have based on data protection. First of all: We comply with data protection laws and protect your privacy.
But we would like to be completely open: the Internet thrives on data exchange and still has many security gaps. Even if your data is encrypted when you visit our website, there is always a residual risk when it is exchanged with third-party websites. If you visit other websites - for example via a link on our website - please note that this data protection declaration does not apply to this external website.
What is personal data?
Personal data in this sense is all individual information about the personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person, such as names, addresses or email addresses but also IP addresses.

You can also reach our data protection officer using these contact details. If you have specific questions about your data, its deletion or your rights, you can contact us directly about data protection via the email address office@tyrolchrono.com. If you want to make a written request, the addition “data protection” is sufficient.
What are my rights?
You can contact us at any time if you have any questions about your data protection rights or would like to exercise one of your following rights:
Right of withdrawal in accordance with Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR (e.g. you can contact us if you would like to revoke your previously given consent to a newsletter)
Right to information in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR (e.g. you can contact us if you would like to know what data we have stored about you)
Correction in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR (e.g. you can contact us if your email address has changed and we should replace the old email address)
Deletion in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR (e.g. you can contact us if you want us to delete certain data that we have stored about you) Restriction of processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR (e.g. you can contact us if you you would like us not to delete your email address, but only use it to send absolutely necessary emails)

Right to complain to the responsible supervisory authority in accordance with Article 77 (1) GDPR (e.g. if you have a complaint you can also contact the data protection supervisory authority directly)
Deletion of data and storage period
Unless otherwise stated, we will delete your data as soon as it is no longer needed. Your data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by law expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data to conclude or fulfill a contract. Certain data may need to be retained longer for legal reasons. You can of course request information about the stored data at any time.
Visit the website
If you just want to browse our website, we do not collect any personal data, with the exception of the data that your browser transmits to enable you to visit the website, especially:
IP address (e.g. 95.91.215.192 or 2a02:8109:9440:1198:bdb1:551f:7ehe)
Approximate location based on IP range (e.g. Berlin and surrounding areas)
Internet provider (e.g. Kabel Deutschland or Deutsche Telekom)
Internet speed (e.g. 120 Mbit)
Date and time (e.g. 11:45 on May 25, 2018)
Last visited website (e.g. google.de)
Browser (e.g. Chrome or Safari)
Operating system (e.g. Mac OS)
Hardware (e.g. Intel processor)
The most interesting thing for you as a visitor to our website is the IP address, as this is data that can theoretically be traced back to you as a person.
As a protective measure for your privacy, we delete or anonymize the IP address after you visit our website. This means that the other technical data can no longer be traced back to you and only serves anonymous, statistical purposes to optimize our website. The purpose of temporarily storing the data at the beginning is to ensure the connection as well as the accessibility and correct display of our website. The IP address and the technical data already mentioned are required to display the website, avoid display problems for visitors and resolve error messages. The legal basis is the so-called legitimate interest, which was examined within the framework of the aforementioned protective measures and in accordance with the European data protection requirements from Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Contact form
You have the option of contacting us using our contact form. You can provide us with the following data:
First/last name
phone
E-mail address
Message/your message
As a protective measure, contact is made - just like visiting the rest of the website - via an encrypted connection. We also apply the principle of data minimization and only record the data actually required in the contact form. After we have successfully contacted you and the reason for contact has finally disappeared, your data will be deleted. The sole purpose of the requested data is to contact you, which is why the data will only be used for this purpose. The legal basis is the consent to data processing, which was given to pursue the purpose and within the framework of the aforementioned protective measures. By sending the contact request/your message, consent is given.
Applicant data
We collect and process applicants’ personal data for the purpose of processing the application process. Processing can also take place electronically. This is particularly the case if an applicant sends relevant application documents to us electronically, for example by email or via a web form on the website. If we conclude an employment contract with an applicant, the data transmitted will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with the legal provisions. If we do not conclude an employment contract with the applicant, the application documents will be deleted 3 months after delivery of the rejection decision, provided that deletion does not conflict with any of our other legitimate interests. Another legitimate interest in this sense is, for example, a burden of proof in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).
Rate the watch/Pay in/Register
You also have the option of having your watch evaluated by us and registering on our website and then logging in with a user account at any time. To have your watch evaluated, you must provide your email address. Then select your watch type & data, enter your first/last name and your telephone number. This way you create a user. You then have the opportunity to register on our website.
If you cancel the evaluation process, we would like to send you an email with assistance to make further evaluation easier for you. If you do not wish this, you can let us know using the contact details above or use the unsubscribe process provided by us in every email.
To register with us, the following data is required:
E-mail address
First/last name
Telephone number
user name
password
newsletter
We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to provide our newsletter. We will only send you a newsletter by email if you confirm that you would like to receive our newsletter by clicking on a link in our notification email. If you confirm your wish to receive the newsletter, we will save your email address for the purpose of sending the newsletter.
You can of course unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time; you will find a link to do so in every newsletter. If you click on the link, you will be redirected and can confirm your unsubscription in an email. This way we can ensure that the opt-out is implemented in all processes. Alternatively, you can contact us using the contact details above.
Cookies
Our website sometimes uses so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are usually stored in a folder in your browser. Cookies contain information about the current or last visit to the website. If cookies do not contain an exact expiry date, they are only temporarily stored and automatically deleted as soon as you close your browser or restart the device. Cookies with an expiry date remain stored even if you close your browser or restart your device. Such cookies will only be removed on the specified date or if you delete them manually.
We use the following three types of cookies on our website:
Required cookies (we need these, e.g. to display the website correctly for you and to cache certain settings)
Functional and performance-related cookies (these help us, for example, to evaluate technical data from your visit and thus avoid error messages)
Advertising and analysis-related cookies (these ensure that, for example, advertising for shoes is displayed if you have previously searched for shoes). You can configure, block and delete cookies in your browser settings. If you delete all cookies from our website, some functions of the website may not be displayed correctly. The Federal Office for Information Security provides helpful information and instructions for common browsers: https://www.bsi-fuer-buerger.de/BSIFB/DE/Empkommenungen/EinstellungSoftware/EinstellungBrowser/sicherheitsmassnahme/Cookies/cookies_node.html
With the exception of the technically necessary cookies, the other types of cookies are only activated after express consent has been given. This consent can be revoked at any time. You can find the revocation option and further information in the cookie settings options.
Google Fonts
To visually improve the typeface, Google Fonts (https://fonts.google.com) from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"), a font collection from Google, are used. These fonts are transferred to your browser's storage folder and activated when you access this website or other websites. If this is not supported, the text on the webpage will only be displayed in a standard font. To make this possible, a request is sent to domains such as fonts.googleapis.com or fonts.gstatic.com, which for technical reasons contains your IP address. However, your data will not be merged with other data or traced back to you personally.
As a protective measure, we have ensured that accessing Google's font collection does not result in the data being merged with other Google offerings, e.g. if you have a Google user account. English information on data protection at Google Fonts confirms this (https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq). In addition, the high security standards of the Google platform and the associated data protection declaration from Google apply (http://www.google.com/intl/de-DE/privacy). Since Google is based in the USA and therefore a so-called third country, further guarantees are required to ensure an appropriate European level of data protection. Google has signed special data protection clauses with us for this purpose (so-called EU standard contractual clauses on data protection).
The purpose of the data transmission is the correct representation of the fonts in the form provided by us. The IP address is required to establish a connection to Google's servers in order to download the font collection if it is not already stored on the device. The legal basis is the so-called legitimate interest, which was examined in pursuit of the purpose and within the framework of the aforementioned protective measures and in accordance with the European data protection requirements from Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
WEBSITE ANALYSIS:
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses the advertising and analysis cookies described above to analyze our website with regard to your usage behavior. The information generated by cookies about the use of this website is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, your IP address will be shortened before the usage statistics are evaluated, so that no conclusions can be drawn about you personally. For this purpose, Google Analytics on our website has been expanded to include the code “anonymizeIp” to ensure that IP addresses are recorded anonymously. Google will use the anonymized information obtained through the cookies to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for website operators and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.
You can also configure your browser to reject cookies, or you can prevent Google from collecting and analyzing data by using a browser plugin (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de ) from Google and install. As an alternative to the browser add-on or within browsers on mobile devices, you can set an opt-out cookie to prevent future collection by Google Analytics within this website (the opt-out only works in the browser and only for this domain). If you delete your cookies in this browser, you must click this link again.
As a protective measure, we use the anonymization process offered by Google, which means that the data is not subsequently evaluated on the basis of your person, but only on a statistical basis. In addition, the high security standards of the Google platform and the associated data protection declaration from Google apply (http://www.google.com/intl/de-DE/privacy). We have also concluded a special data protection agreement with Google, which stipulates the protection of your data through technical and organizational protective measures. Since Google is based in the USA and therefore a so-called third country, further guarantees are required to ensure an appropriate European level of data protection. Google has signed special data protection clauses with us for this purpose (so-called EU standard contractual clauses on data protection). The purpose of using Google Analytics is to anonymously analyze your usage behavior on our websites. The insights gained from this help to improve our offering. The legal basis is consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit a GDPR. In addition, an order processing contract was concluded in accordance with the requirements of Art. 28 GDPR.
BingAds
We also use Bing Ads, which collects and stores data from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. This is a service provided by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. This service allows us to track users' activities on our website if they have come to our website via advertisements from Bing Ads. If you access our website via such an ad, a cookie will be placed on your computer. A Bing UET tag is integrated into our website. This is a code that, in conjunction with the cookie, stores some non-personal data about the use of the website. This includes, among other things, the time spent on the website, which areas of the website were accessed and which advertisement the users used to reach the website. Information about your identity is not collected. The information collected is transferred to Microsoft servers in the USA and stored there for a maximum of 180 days. You can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website and the processing of this data by deactivating the setting of cookies. This may limit the functionality of the website.
In addition, Microsoft may be able to track your usage behavior across several of your electronic devices through so-called cross-device tracking and is therefore able to display personalized advertising on or in Microsoft websites and apps. You can deactivate this behavior at http://choice.microsoft.com/de-de/opt-out.
You can find more information about Bing's analysis services on the Bing Ads website https://help.bingads.microsoft.com/#apex/3/de/53056/2. You can find more information about data protection at Microsoft and Bing in the data protection regulations from Microsoft https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatement
As a protective measure, the data is not evaluated based on your person, but only on a statistical basis. We have also concluded a special data protection agreement that stipulates the protection of your data through technical and organizational protective measures. Since Microsoft is based in the USA and therefore a so-called third country, further guarantees are required to ensure an appropriate European level of data protection. Microsoft has signed special data protection clauses with us for this purpose (so-called EU standard contractual clauses on data protection).

Google Tag Manager
This website uses Google Tag Manager. This service allows website tags to be managed via an interface. The Google Tool Manager only implements tags. This means: No cookies are used and no personal data is collected. The Google Tool Manager triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. However, Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made at the domain or cookie level, it remains in effect for all tracking tags if they are implemented with the Google Tag Manager.
